Orchestra

KiMS offers two orchestra classes, “Concert Orchestra” and “Chamber Orchestra”. Both classes are year-long electives that meet during the school day. Most students in the orchestra have at least one year of playing experience on the violin, viola, cello, or string bass. However, new students are always encouraged to join the Concert Orchestra, even if they’ve never played an instrument! Chamber Orchestra, our auditioned group, is for advanced string students only. Both orchestras perform in several concerts a year, take field trips, and learn a variety of repertoire.

Please contact the instructor, Timothy Ashe, for more information!
